Pedro restored pieces of important collections as: Susan Sarandon, Linda Kräsner, Michael Bloomberg and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson Law Firm. As well he was project manager in works as: Gross Residence, Princeton University Chappel, Grand Central Station an Prince George Hotel.

Through a Chinese antique restoration, Pedro met Kenny Hwang, also a jeweler and designer, who became his good friend and mentor. Kenny very impressed and interested about Pedro's work soon invited him to work in his company as assistant designer, model-maker and production manager.

Kenny beyond developing and commercializing his signature line ( Saks Fifth Avenue ) and his private label KH.Studio (Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom) is also co-owner of Main Floor Showroom, which develops and represents several accessories lines.

Under Kenny's supervision, Pedro worked in product developments for major labels as: Donna Karan, Givenchy, Banana Republic and Halston. Also with Kenny Pedro create the winner piece of the contest “2000 Gen-Art-Nokia Fresh Faces in Fashion”.

Still, working with Kenny did model-making for Simon Alcantara for his debut collection and also for Simon's work with Oscar de La Renta.

Uncertainties in the north-american market caused by september11th disaster brought Pedro back to Brazil in 2002.

Pedro opted for São Paulo to live and work.

In São Paulo , he worked with Guerreiro, the first Brazilian jewelry designer, as assistant designer and model-maker.

After a long break in his career (since1983), Guerreiro returned in great style by the end of 2001. With a modern and internationalized vision, Pedro was fundamental on contextualizing “the Guerreiro style” into a contemporary language, and also on the recent growth of his company.

The experience acquired along his professional life summed up to the desire of creating his signature line led Pedro to set his own studio in 2004.

In 2005 Pedro decided to bring his studio back to Curitiba.

Pedro Gevaerd's concept focuses on “timeless pieces” development, revisiting “classics” with contemporary and personal language.

The careful choice of materials and quality on execution details allow the development of pieces that last forever without losing the essence of its creation time.
